Refunds & Cancellation

Short version: Try any paid plan free for 14 days. Cancel before your trial end date and you pay nothing. Cancel any time after that and you keep your plan until the end of the period you paid for. Cancelling never deletes your data.

This policy is part of our Terms of Service.

Free plan

The Free plan is free. No card, no time limit, 5 invoices a month.

Your 14-day free trial

• Paid plans start with a 14-day free trial. We ask for a payment method when you start it.
• Cancel before the trial end date shown in Settings → Billing and you won’t be charged. We email you before your trial ends with the date, the price and how to cancel.
• If you don’t cancel, your first payment is taken when the trial ends: for example, $49 for Solo monthly, or $492 for Solo yearly. The price and the date are shown at checkout.
• The free trial is for your first paid plan only. If you cancel and come back later, billing starts right away.
• Paid plans renew automatically every month or year at the price shown at checkout until you cancel.

Cancelling

• Cancel any time in Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription, or email support@garagesolo.com and we’ll cancel it the same business day.
• When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Then your account moves to the Free plan. You won’t be charged again.
• Deleting your account cancels your plan right away, not at the end of the period, and the unused time isn’t refunded. If you just want to stop paying, cancel instead and keep using the plan until the period ends.
• If you’re still within your first-charge refund window, email us before deleting so we can refund you.

Refunds

• Monthly plans: we don’t refund partial months. Cancelling stops all future charges.
• Yearly plans: after the 14-day refund window below, we don’t refund the unused part of the year. We email you about 30 days before each yearly renewal with the price and how to cancel.
• Your first charge: if you want out after your first charge, email us within 7 days (monthly) or 14 days (yearly) of it and we’ll refund it in full, once per shop.
• Mistakes are always refunded. If we charged you twice, charged the wrong amount, or charged you after you cancelled, we’ll refund it.
• Refunds go back to your original payment method. Most banks show them within 5–10 business days.

Changing plans

• Upgrading: you get the new features right away, and we charge only the difference for the rest of your current billing period.
• Downgrading: the change starts at your next billing date. There’s no credit for the current period.

Price changes

If your plan’s price changes, we’ll email you at least 30 days before your first charge at the new price, and you can cancel before then.

If a payment fails

We’ll retry the charge and email you. While a payment is overdue, your account works like the Free plan. Nothing is deleted. Update your card in Settings → Billing to get everything back.

Founding Shops

Founding Shop pricing stays locked as long as you keep the same paid plan without cancelling. A payment that fails and then goes through doesn’t end it. If you cancel, the Founding price ends with it.

Your data

Cancelling never deletes your data. Your customers, vehicles, jobs and invoices stay in your account on the Free plan, and you can export everything (CSV/JSON) any time from Settings.

Taxes, and if we close your account or a plan

Prices don’t include sales tax where it applies. If we discontinue GARAGE or a plan, or close your account for reasons other than your breach of our Terms, we refund the unused prepaid part of your plan. If we close your account because you broke our Terms, didn’t pay, or abused the service, we don’t refund the current period.
