Everything you need to know about GARAGE
01 Do I need to download an app?
No! GARAGE is a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works in your browser. Just visit the site, and you can install it to your home screen like a native app. No app store needed.
02 What if I lose internet connection?
Mostly, yes. Write up jobs, estimates and invoices with zero bars. Send them once you’re back in range. Sending and VIN lookup need a connection.
03 Can I use it on my phone AND laptop?
Yes! One account works on all your devices. Use your laptop for detailed work and your phone for on-site estimates and photos.
04 How do payments work?
Record every payment against its invoice so you always know who has paid. Built-in card processing is coming soon. Your GARAGE plan itself is billed through Stripe.
05 Can I customize invoices?
Yes. Upload your shop logo, set your tax rates, customize payment terms, and add your contact info. PDF estimates and invoices, with your logo on Solo. State-specific legal terms are auto-included for FL, CA, NY, GA, and TX.
06 What happens after the free tier?
Start on the Free plan, no card needed: 5 invoices/month with no time limit. Paid plans include a 14-day trial. When you’re ready to upgrade, Solo is $49/mo (unlimited invoices, branding, P&L) or Solo Pro is $89/mo (adds online booking, inspections, mileage tracking and advanced analytics). Your data always stays intact.
07 How do I cancel?
No contracts. Cancel anytime in Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription, or email support@garagesolo.com and we’ll cancel it the same business day. You keep access until the end of your billing period, then your account moves to the Free plan. Details: Refunds & Cancellation.
08 What happens to my data if I cancel?
It’s your data — we don’t hold it hostage. You can export your customers, vehicles, and job history anytime from Settings. If you cancel, your account moves to the Free plan and your data stays right where it is. Cancelling never deletes it.
